The Longest Open House in 2023 raised just over $18,000 to fight Alzheimer's. Kyle Olson set his third world record for the Longest Open House at 64 hours.
Easy answer, When this event started as an Idea, I searched Google for the longest open house and this is longer. The longest at the time was 61 hours and I have added an hour every year. The longer answer is I hope to continue this event extending an hour for 10 years signifying one hour for every year of Dewey (Kyle's Dad) Olson's life! I Love you DAD
The doors will be locked from 9:00 pm until 8:00 am but feel free to knock for admission. No money will be held on site and there will always be two people available to answer any questions.
According to my research this the longest open house that can be found on the internet. We have submitted the event to the Guiness Record review committee and but they are clasifing it as advertising and want to much money that could go to the cause instead..
